Get ready, northwest Arkansas lovers of international cuisine, you will soon be able to dive into a local menu based on authentic Indian flavors when Jerrmy Gawthrop and Clayton Suttle open the doors on their newest culinary collaboration, Cardamom & Curry.
According to Gawthrop, the new place will be an Indian-style eatery, with an emphasis on “style”. While this won’t be the place to find an all-you-can-eat buffet, Cardamom & Curry’s menu will offer appetizers, salads and soups along with fresh takes on the traditional entrée dishes you’ll find at an authentic Indian restaurant. A bar will be pouring local beers as well.
Just as has been the case in their other restaurants – Greenhouse Grille and Wood Stone Craft Pizza – the menu at Cardamom & Curry will be crafted with a healthy dose of creativity. You may recognize the names of menu items, but they will be enhanced with unique sauces and garnishes. “It will be an Ozark interpretation.” explains Gawthrop, “We’ll have the basics, but we’ll be doing our thing with it.”
Cardamom & Curry will be located in Hawaiian Brian’s old space in Fayetteville’s Evelyn Hills Shopping Center. Keep an eye out here for specifics on their opening date as we learn more. Until then, spread the word!
